The Bookery is an all volunteer fundraising effort of the Fort Bragg Area Officers’ Spouses’ Club. Money raised from the sale of these books is used to award donations to charit-able organizations in the Fort Bragg and Fayetteville communities, such as the Fisher House, the ASYMCA, the Fort Bragg Community Foundation, Fort Bragg schools, and many others.

We are located in the lobby of the Soldier Support Center (corner of Normandy and the All-American) on Fort Bragg. We are OPEN from September through May on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. (Closed on federal holidays.)

The Bookery will also be open on the Saturday following the FBAOSC luncheon of every month (September through May) at the OSC Building (bldg 2-2411) to give you a chance to browse the huge selection of books that we have just waiting to go on The Bookery shelves. Hours are from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm for your book-buying pleasure.

Donations for The Bookery
We welcome book donations and will gladly accept:

• Gently used hardback and paperback books.
• Fiction, non-fiction, reference, chapter and children’s books, audio books and even unused photo albums and journals.

At this time, we cannot accpet:

• Books that are moldy, mildewed, missing covers, etc.
• Textbooks, magazines, or multiple volume collections such as encyclopedias

FBAOSC Membership Benefits
FBAOSC @ the luncheons. The Bookery will be at the FBAOSC luncheons with a selection of books for the membership, giving you, the members of the OSC, a chance to peruse before they go on the shelves at the Soldier Support Center.

Special Requests. In addition, we will also take requests via our email account ( ) from FBAOSC MEMBERS ONLY. If you’re looking for a particular title or author, we’ll keep our eyes peeled as we go through books at The Bookery. When we locate your treasure, we’ll notify you by email and bring it to the next luncheon or reserve it for you for pickup at the OSC building during our monthly Saturday hours.
